About this event
Talented Brazilian guitarist/vocalist/composer Luciano Antonio recently appeared at the Chicago Jazz Festival backed by an eight-piece band and now he’s bringing the same band to a more intimate setting at Studio5. He has recorded two full albums of original material plus a Live At The Jazz Showcase album, on which he shows off his considerable range of moving from notes of plaintive simplicity to harmonies of great fullness and complexity. His octet features Hannah Fujisaki on piano, Gerald Martinez on reeds, Brian Schwab on trumpet, Matt Kowalski on trombone, Jonathon Wenzel on drums and Heitor Garcia on percussion, under Music Director Marcel Bonfim on Bass. This concert will be recorded live for Chicago Jazz Live on WDCB.
Tickets: $40 for theater seating, $50 for cabaret seating
