Raise the Sail 2026

About this event

Join the Columbia Sailing School for Raise the Sail on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM aboard the Abegweit .

Raise the Sail is our annual celebration, an evening that brings together friends, families, alumni, supporters, and members of the Columbia community in support of the next generation of sailors.

Together, we’ll celebrate the impact of the School, the people who make our mission possible, and the opportunities we can create when our community comes together. Proceeds from ticket sales, sponsorships, auction bids, and donations directly support scholarships, youth programming, and expanded access to sailing throughout Chicago.

We invite you to come aboard for an evening of music, connection, and celebration, while helping create more opportunities for youth and adults to experience the confidence, belonging, and possibility that come from being on the water.
