Helping Chicago Families Celebrate Thanksgiving with Food, Dignity, and Kindness!

Thanksgiving is a time for family, gratitude, and coming together around the dinner table. Unfortunately, for many households, the rising cost of groceries can make preparing a traditional holiday meal challenging.

At The Kindness Campaign , we believe every family deserves the opportunity to gather, share a meal, and create meaningful holiday memories without the added stress of wondering how they will put food on the table.

That's why we're proud to partner with K Fresh Foods and our generous community sponsors for our 2026 Feeding Families for Thanksgiving initiative!

On Saturday, November 21, we'll distribute FREE Thanksgiving turkeys and traditional holiday accompaniments to help families prepare a delicious Thanksgiving meal at home.

This effort is about more than providing food. It's about easing financial pressures, supporting household stability, and reminding our neighbors that their community cares.

🦃 What Families Can Expect

• FREE Thanksgiving turkey and holiday accompaniments, while supplies last.

• One turkey per family to help us reach as many households as possible.

• First come, first served. Distribution will continue until all available turkeys have been distributed.

• Walk-up distribution only. Participants must park their vehicles and walk to the distribution area.

• No advance reservations or guaranteed availability.
