This session examines how clinicians can integrate AI-based tools into therapeutic and violence-prevention work without compromising the people they serve. Participants will begin by identifying the primary ethical risks and benefits of these tools, then explore practical strategies for preserving client and survivor agency, consent, and voice when AI enters clinical decision-making. The session closes with an evaluation framework clinicians can use to assess whether a given AI tool is appropriate for vulnerable or trauma-exposed populations before adopting it into practice.
