SHOW DESCRIPTION: The Voices in Our Heads is a powerful and thought-provoking storytelling experience from SOL Collective that explores the inner worlds we all carry with us: the doubts, fears, dreams, memories, expectations, and conversations that shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.

Through compelling moments of humor, vulnerability, and reflection, the production gives voice to the thoughts we often leave unspoken. It asks us to consider which voices deserve our attention, which ones hold us back, and what can happen when we finally listen to ourselves.

Raw, relatable, and deeply human, The Voices in Our Heads invites audiences into a shared space of connection and self-discovery—reminding us that although our inner voices may sound different, none of us are alone in hearing them.

ABOUT SOL Collective: Founded in 2020, the SOL Collective was established to uplift and showcase the voices of women of color in the storytelling community and arts scene of Chicago. The name SOL holds significant meaning for us as it symbolizes our identity as women of the Sun, our connection to our ancestral spirits, and our commitment to sharing the Stories of Our Lives.
