About this event

Amy Fahey, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the First Women's Bank, will be the featured speaker at the Wednesday, Nov. 4 meeting of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Elmhurst Area Branch NFP. The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. at the Elmhurst Public Library, 125 S. Prospect Ave., Elmhurst. Founded in 2021, the First Women's Bank is the only bank in the country with a strategic focus on supporting the women's economy and closing the gender gap in lending. To support this mission, they recruit deposits from individuals, organizations, and corporations that share their vision. These funds are then strategically deployed to support small businesses with a focus on supporting the women's economy.
