About this event
Robert Altman · 124m · DCP
Millie Lammoreaux (Shelley Duvall) and Pinky Rose (Sissy Spacek) work at a rehabilitation center in a California desert community. Pinky becomes fascinated with the outgoing, self-assured Millie, and the two begin living together. The pregnant wife of their landlord, the silent Willie (Janet Rule), is a constant, yet mysterious presence. However, after a traumatic event, the boundary between Millie and Pinky's identities begins to blur. Perhaps his most enigmatic movie, Robert Altman stated that 3 Women came to him in a dream while his wife was in the hospital.
