Synchronized Swimming x Nervous Records

About this event

House music has given us a lot. The music, the friendships, and the community we’ve found along the way. It’s a big part of why we call Chicago home.

And while there’s always been conversation about its origins and the people and cities that shaped it, to us, house has always been bigger than any one person or place.

It’s about the feeling you get from the music and the people you meet because of it.

That’s why this next one is pretty special to us.

We’re teaming up with New York’s iconic @nervousrecords for a night at @californiaclipper, joined by label boss @mikenervous and Chicago’s own @djemmaculate, whose releases on Nervous and recent work producing legendary Chicago house group @officialtencity and pioneer @byronstingily’s newest album, The Next Generation, are a reminder of how this music continues to evolve.

We’ve always believed in bringing people and different generations together through music, and getting to create a night like this with people whose work has inspired us and helped shape the music we love is something we don’t take lightly.

A small part of a much bigger story, and a reminder that house music’s history is still being written by the people who continue to show up for it.
