Lead the City Conversations: The Return

About this event

Join us Monday, November 16, from 7 to 9pm at Renewal Church (935 N Dearborn St) for a screening of The Return , produced by Win With Justice, the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA), and VOICES from Our Daily Bread Ministries. RSVP here .

Five years after his release, Jonathan goes back to a maximum security prison to face the violence, despair, and injustice of his past and to inspire the men he left behind. His message: the stigma of incarceration doesn’t have to define them. With him are his wife Maya Moore Irons, Grammy-winning artists Lecrae and Tedashii, and the organizations that have backed his return.

After the film, a panel of Chicago leaders serving incarcerated and returning citizens and their families, some with their own experience inside the system, will share their stories.

This event is free. Bring your congregation, family, and friends. Street parking is available, as well as parking at the InterPark garage (100 W Chestnut St.). Bring you ticket with you and we’ll validate it at the event before you leave.
