Soccer (Outdoor 8v8) at Fleet Fields

Join us for this exciting 8v8 outdoor soccer scrimmage in a well-organized, fun, and welcoming setting! Teams are made on site, but you can request to play with your friends while checking in at the field. Fleet Fields is located at 1354 W. Wabansia Ave. Chicago, IL 60642. Street parking is free. We will be playing 7v7 or 8v8 on the large field (format depends on turnout). You'll get a ton of playing time in a well-organized event. The Grab A Game host will check players in, form teams, and make sure everything is organized and fun. All you have to do is show up ready to play! Be sure to officially lock in your spot with payment here as registration and payment are not accepted on site. Each player needs to register for themselves. Pricing $12 per person 5-pack of games for $50 (Good for up to 1-year and can be shared across all Grab A Game sports and locations) 1-Week Pass $35 (Up to 5 games. Week begins on the day of the first game. Can be shared across all Grab A Game sports and locations) 1-Month of Unlimited Play at Fleet Fields with Grab A Game $49.99 (30-days begins on the day of the first game) First time players will see the promo offer for 2 games for $25 . Cancelation Policy Cancelations made 2 or more hours in advance will automatically receive a credit for another game of the same price. No-shows and cancelations made within 2 hours of the start time will not receive a credit. No refunds. If you are turned away at the facility for failing the screening procedure, we will issue a credit to your account. What to Expect: Show up 10-15 minutes early. Check in with the Grab A Game host on the field. The host will create teams and explain the format for the tournament. We'll start the first games on time. We typically split into 3 teams and do a rotation of 2 games on, 1 game off. Games are set for 10-minutes. With smaller turnouts, you may have the option to play the whole time. The event host will set up the field, provide a game ball, and pinnies to differentiate the teams. For warm-ups, you may bring your own ball - please be sure to write your name on it in permanent marker. You'll be playing on artificial turf fields. Most players wear cleats or turf shoes, though they're not required. Level of Play: This event attracts recreational / intermediate level players. Players understand general positions and are willing to be flexible on where they play. We do our best to create even teams so that games are well-matched. There are no referees, so players need to play with sportsmanship and make their own calls. We aim to make everyone feel welcome at these events. Port-o-potties are available. Please bring your own water. This event needs a minimum of 14 people (not including the host) signed up two hours before the start of the event in order to run. If we have fewer than 14 people registered by that time, a notification will be sent 2 hours in advance if we need to cancel. Credits will be issued if we cancel the event. Requirement to play: This is an adult soccer group and player must be 18 or older. Males and females are welcome to play. There is no required gender ratio. What's included in the price?
