Friendly Spotlight Series - Tim Coan

About this event

Head on over to Friendly on Tuesday, November 3rd, for the Friendly Spotlight Series featuring singer-songwriter Tim Coan! Grounded in the enduring art of songcraft, Coan writes and performs with an unwavering commitment to pure melody and evocative lyricism. In an era often dominated by fleeting trends, his music returns to the foundational pillars of song: melodies crafted to stand alone, poetic storytelling, and solo lines that sing with clear purpose.

Drawing deep inspiration from the Great American Songbook and the golden age of 1960s and ’70s songwriting, Coan channels the creative spirit of icons like Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Carole King, Hoagy Carmichael, and Duke Ellington. Whether delivering intricate guitar arrangements or lyrical ballads, his performance offers an intimate, masterclass exploration of American melody. Join us for an evening of warm, thoughtful songs that honor the past while carving out an authentic voice of their own.
