About this event

(Parent Required to Participate in this 2-Hour session) WABA’s Orientation Workshop is far more than a meeting or training session—it is a multi-dimensional initiation into the WABA Method. Designed as a living sample of the principles that drive our 360 Development Program, the workshop begins with discussion of cutting-edge theories and ends with hands-on challenges on the pitch, using new tools and methods. At the heart of Orientation is the WABA Toolkit: a 17-item collection of diagnostic and developmental resources. These tools both assess a player’s current capacities and provide immediate opportunities for improvement. As players and parents explore each item, they are introduced to some core philosophies that define WABA—adaptability, productive struggle, and balance (homeostasis). These values are reflected in every detail, from the simple ritual of removing outdoor shoes upon arrival, to juggling while on a balancing devise, to the structured routines of PRP™—Preparation, Recovery, and Prevention, to Eyez-Up™ blindfolded skills mastery with Cognitive Overlays™. The experience blends education and demonstration, ensuring that families not only hear about the WABA Method but see firsthand why our methods lead to advanced results. At its core, Orientation teaches that struggle is not a setback but a driving force for growth. By the end of the session, training often feels more like soccer fun—creative, challenging, and joyful. It is not uncommon to see a player attempting attacking foot skills blindfolded while circling a whiffle ball around their waist in unique patterns, and laughing at their own mistakes. These moments vividly capture WABA’s belief that joy and difficulty not only can coexist—they must. Ultimately, Orientation leaves both players and parents with a clear basic understanding of WABA’s 360 Development Program and how its methods and principles foster greatness in both soccer and life. The Toolkit is just the beginning—a first taste and a promise of the deeper journey ahead.
