About this event

Mountainfilm on Tour comes to Thalia Hall on Wednesday, November 18. It’s the official touring program of Mountainfilm, the documentary film festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado, and this is its first Chicago stop in seven years.

The night brings a curated block of short documentaries from the festival: stories from wild places and the people working to protect them. After the screening, filmmakers join a live panel on stage, followed by an hour to hang out with Chicago’s film and outdoor communities.

Doors and an opening act at 5:30pm. Films at 6:30pm, followed by the filmmaker panel. All ages.

Presented by The North Face. Produced by Filmmaker Friday Chicago and Caymanite Productions, with community partners Chicago Wilderness Alliance, Openlands, and One Earth Collective.

Tickets start at $30 for general admission, with opera box seating also available.
