About this event

Lile Emnadze is a Georgian pianist whose artistic pursuits center on interpretive depth, performance, and the exploration of musical form and expression.

Beginning her musical journey in Georgia, Lile earned her Bachelor’s degree from the Tbilisi State Conservatoire. Her early career was marked by active participation in national and international piano competitions and festivals. She continued her graduate studies in the United States, earning a Master of Music degree from DePaul University under the mentorship of Professor George Vatchnadze, while also studying with Dr. Yasuko Oura. She is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts under the guidance of Dr. Winston Choi.

Throughout her artistic development, Lile has refined her craft through masterclasses with distinguished pianists and pedagogues, including Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Asaf Zohar, William Wolfram, Alan Chow, Jeffrey Biegel, and Christopher Guzman, among others. She has performed at prominent venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall in New York and the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden.

Alongside her solo career, Lile is actively involved in chamber music, exploring the collaborative aspects of performance and the musical dialogue between instrumentalists. Her repertoire spans from the Baroque era through the twenty-first century, with a particular focus on the works of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Liszt, Scriabin, and Prokofiev.

As the winner of Roosevelt University’s concerto competition, Lile will appear as a featured soloist with the university’s student orchestra, performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major, K. 488.
