About this event

This is the bleakest era ever for America's small, private colleges. Shrinking enrollment is threatening the permanent closure for many across the nation. As the public has expressed skepticism about the value of a college degree, the results have been especially hard on the small schools. Reduced enrollment coupled with inflation has caused the cost of a degree to escalate. Michael Weissman's discussion asks the questions, can this be halted and should it?
