About this event
Step into the Great Green Room and experience Goodnight Moon like never before.
Inspired by Margaret Wise Brown’s timeless story and Clement Hurd’s iconic illustrations, this immersive experience surrounds visitors with the sights, sounds and characters of the world they know from the book.
Discover the science behind sleep, exploring questions about dreams, nightmares, lunar cycles and how astronauts sleep in the weightlessness of space. Use interactive technology to digitally paint the world around you, filling the room with color before settling in for a story time unlike any other.
Goodnight Moon combines digital projection, interactive technology, art and storytelling to transform a familiar bedtime story into an experience the whole family can share.
Goodnight Moon opens on Nov. 5, 2026 and closes on Jan. 3, 2027. This exhibit is included in General Admission.
