About this event
PINK AND GREEN: HIT SONGS FROM STEPHEN SCHWARTZ
Do you love to sing, dance, and act? Then this musical theatre class is for you! Inspired by the hit Broadway musical Wicked , this tuneful class celebrates friendship, kindness, and acceptance. Along the way, campers rehearse, perform, and let their imaginations soar.
This is a Level Three class, so students take more ownership of rehearsals and performance. Over six weeks, performers rehearse for 10 hours. During that time, they build their acting technique and sharpen their teamwork. Each week, they sing, dance, and dig into scene work. As a result, they create a polished show they can be proud of.
The Performance
At the end of the session, students take the stage in a fully staged performance for family and friends. A Level One class ends with a Demonstration, and a Level Two class ends with a Presentation. In contrast, a Level Three Performance focuses on memorization, character work, and a polished theatrical production.
Who Should Join?
This class suits young performers who love the stage and want a more focused production experience. If your child is ready to grow as an actor, singer, and dancer, sign up today!

At Gorton Drama Studio , students learn foundational acting skills through the teaching methods developed by Jeremy Kruse, author of The Young Actor’s Handbook (Applause Acting Series, 2017) and the upcoming The Young Actor’s Technique . Throughout the day, students strengthen stage presence, projection, active listening, and the ability to create believable characters. At the same time, they build confidence, overcome stage fright, and develop valuable communication skills. Most importantly, every class encourages students to discover more about themselves, better understand the world around them, and express themselves through the art of theater.
