About this event

Arts Healing Across Communities is a six-month initiative that integrates professional performance, participatory arts, and culturally grounded wellness workshops to foster healing, resilience, and collective empowerment among Chicago’s immigrant, worker, and educator communities. Led by the KOl Institute in collaboration with nationally recognized artist-scholar Dr. Liz DeBetta and interdisciplinary healer-performer Ginger Nepomuceno, the project weaves together Catalyst Performances (Ginger’s Rivers Remember and Liz’s Un-M-Othered), immersive workshops designed for educators of color, domestic workers, and community organizers, and a culminating community-devised performances amplifying participant voices and fostering collective healing.
