About this event
A popular program here at Rogers Park that is all about music appreciation combined with music therapy. As an alternative to a book club, this is a song club, where each patron chooses one song to share with others in a communal setting, then we each go around the room discussing our reactions, thoughts and overall feelings as we listened.
Bring one favorite track to play for others. We'll have access to YouTube so all you have to do is bring a title. We will take turns playing a piece of music to the group, then telling why it matters to us. This is a monthly event on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, so we encourage attendees to return with different songs!
